Parents 

We pride ourselves in our strong home-school links and are pleased with the good relationship with our parents.

We regularly hold open mornings and afternoons and our good partnership is a strength of the school.  The views of parents are often sought to ensure we are doing the best we can.

KEEPING YOU INFORMED

A weekly newsletter is sent home with the children on a Friday containing all the information on the events happening in school. Occasionally letters of a more urgent or important nature will be sent home during the week.  We also support local groups by sending home flyers which we hope you will find useful and informative.

We have an email service which is a very effective form of communication between home and school.  Parents receive e-mail reminders of events in school and in emergency situations such as a school trip being delayed by traffic we are able to send texts to Parents mobile phones.

UNIFORM

We are currently reviewing our school uniform for the coming year as we move towards becoming Phoenix Infant Academy. Please do not order any uniform until further instructions.

CHARGING FOR SCHOOL TRIPS

From time to time, children’s educational visits will be arranged. It is the policy of the governors to ask parents to make a voluntary contribution towards the cost of trips. However, parents are asked to understand that trips cannot go ahead if parents are unwilling to support them.
In the event of financial difficulty, parents are asked to contact the Headteacher to discuss the situation.
